Meet Crystalbrook Bailey's feature artist, Steve Cooke
We're delighted to welcome Steve Cooke to Crystalbrook Bailey as our feature artist.
Steve's exhibition, 'Honest' will be on display from Friday 29 November until Friday 31 January in the lobby.
Steve's work embraces and pushes the traditional boundaries of landscape photography, technically and visually. With an innate ability to capture the ordinary and the spectacular, he transforms ordinary scenes into extraordinary visual narratives.
Meet the artist
Steve, originally from the UK, has made a profound mark on the Australian photography scene since his move to Australia in 2011 at the age of thirty-seven. Embracing a passion that flourished later in life, Steve embarked on his photography journey in 2014. His dedication, passion and exceptional eye for detail earned him accreditation as a Professional Landscape Photographer by the then Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) in 2019. Steve finished his own studies with the Photography Institute of Australia in 2021.
We invite you to join us for the exhibition opening night and artist talk on Friday 29 November from 6:00pm. It's free to attend with nibbles and a paid bar available.
