Crystalbrook Collection is expanding to Canberra
We’re excited to be expanding our portfolio of luxury sustainably led hotels to Australia’s capital. Slated to open in 2027, the hotel is part of a major transformation of Canberra Civic Centre.
The hotel will have 238 rooms and suites and multiple restaurants and bars including a rooftop bar with views stretching across to Lake Burley Griffin and Parliament House, ground floor award-winning high-end dining and a luxury retail operator.
Taking events to the next level, the hotel will feature multiple conference, events and meeting spaces, including dedicated working and break out areas overlooking Garema Place.
Guests looking for wellness options to enhance their stay will have an Eléme Day Spa to indulge in a wide range of treatments as well as a pool, sauna and gym facilities to enjoy during their stay.
The hotel will be located on Bunda Street, positioned between Garema Place and Bunda Street, opposite the iconic Canberra Centre. The hotel will encompass the current Garema Arcade building and is set to redefine Canberra’s skyline.
As the first hospitality group in Australia to achieve 100% waste-free bathrooms, Crystalbrook’s Canberra hotel will continue our commitment to sustainability (or what we call Responsible Luxury), with initiatives including 100% recycled coat hangers and key cards, zero-waste coffee capsules from TerraCycle, and the labelling of ‘Climate Calories’ across all of their restaurants, allowing customers to feel comfortable that they are mitigating their environmental impact.
