The Gresham Bar

As the only bar in Queensland with a heritage license — the Gresham Bar brings old world charm and a slice of history to Brisbane's CBD. 

With its dark wooden floors, intimate lamp lighting, Victorian fireplaces, chesterfield armchairs and a bar with bottles stacked to the roof, this gem from the wide range of Brisbane cocktail bars has an air of tradition and sophistication.

Cobbler

Cobbler Whisky and Cocktail Bar opened up shop in 2013, spurred by a passion and love of whisky. This West End favourite is small yet cool with exposed brick walls, vintage pendant lights and a long wooden bar, with an impressive selection of bottles lining its back. 

The bar specialises in everything related to malted spirits: Scotch, Bourbon, Japanese, Irish, Australian, Indian, Taiwanese and American Single Malt. Cobbler also boasts an extensive range of spirits and one of the best cocktail menus in town.

La Valle

One of Brisbane's best wine bars — La Valle, boasts a 200-strong wine list with Tuscan Chiantis, McLaren Vale Pinot Noirs, French Rosés, and everything in between.  

Not only that, but La Valle has a list of Spanish cervezas, craft beers, premium spirits and a gourmet selection of vermouths and fortified wines. The small bar is ideal for a lunchtime drink in the sun or post-work tipple, with a delicious menu of street style focaccias, charcuterie boards and bruschetta — perfectly paired with a glass of your favourite wine.

Brooklyn Standard
